Hi again,

Next test video generated with an early version of Harry's LapTimer v15. This test includes intro and extra (i. e. the video is not cut at start and finish of the lap, but has extra time before and after), POI inserts showing the area of track we are currently racing, speed inserts showing max straight and min corner speeds, and finally a sector and full times in the top right - including a count down animation.

The video was recorded using an iPhone4S and features full HD. The lap itself is not very fast, the track has been wet with some dry areas. Last lap of this year, see you again next spring. :-)

  • It is in beta currently. Sometimes in Spring :-)

  • Hi Harry, which GPS device did you use? and what is the update rate of that device... is it the one from emprum?

  • @Nhartl206 Either the Dual XGPS150 or the Emprum Ultimate GPS. Not sure. 5 Hz

  • @HarryS911

  • Hi when will V15 be released?

  • @urasboss, I had mounted my iPhone4S using a Luxa2H7 mount. The reason it is "vibration free" is I both mounted it to the windscreen using the suction cup, AND I let it sit on the dashboard. The Luxa is very nice but definitively not the best when it comes to vibrations. Harry

  • That's awesome Harry. What mount are you using to shoot this? Picture is stable!
