The graphics look too clean for this to be the PSX version. I just got done playing this game, and the graphics, despite the lesser quality of the video, look less jaggy. Were you by chance playing this on a PS2 with the text smoothing on?
Also, all throughout my years playing this game, I have never heard that sound of the points racking up at the end of a round.

Maybe because I'm playing the arcade version which has slightly better rendering then the PSX.
btw- playing this on PS2? say what?

I just got back into this game recently. Much nicer with
the sound this time :)
Also, what difficulty setting was this done on?
