this song was on the very last episode of the last series of the australian show "seachange". it was my favourite show and ill always love it and this song :)

@Impossible3144 well you do have a point, but, the guy still speaks with a scots accent, so i'm guessing he still regards himself as a scot, so we will just have to agree to share, he probably has dual nationality anyway :D

@Ciel201 no colin hay is a scotsman, born in kilwinning ayrshire, he moved down under as a kid, but still speaks with a scots accent.
