Just did it myself. I used ,5" pipes and I had to replace those 3 inch long with 1.5" on camera holding to mount it correctly. But the effect is amazing - zero shaking when running through stairwell.

Just built mine. 20 €. The price includes a tripod that i cut the top to adapt to the fig rig to easily connect the camera. It´s awesome! =)

i just finished this build and i tested in out and i friggin love it!!! i made a few slight adjustments/modifications to have the ability to mount a shotgun mic or in my case the zoom h1 to it on the arm and it worked awesome!!!

i would use 3/4 " cause it makes the rig a little sturdier if you are using a dslr do not mount it on this rig you will destroy your camera. the rig has to be changed to support a dslr
