Adjusted the idle up a bit but still obviously tight as, rich and untuned and new, just love that sound at idle but!

hi, great build! How is the tto tacho,hour meter? Is it accurate for rpms? and what rpm have you had with this engine since ran in?

@linzitazim thanks mate, i havn't tested the TTO tacho against anything else so can't really say, i actually removed it just after this first fire up vid and replaced it with a TTO temp guage so i had one on each cylinder to help with tuning - what i can tell you is the TTO temp guages are rubbish and totally inaccurate - the hotter the motor the more inacurate they get, eg at 350F on a temp gun the TTO's were showing 470F !!!

crowescru cheers mate, got some cnc ported heads being lined up with an engine builder in Sydney atm whos motors all have a rep for going hard as, hope to have them by the end of Feb/early March, should be an animal then - going from 50.8cc stock 34mm heads which push it along sweet now with lots of wheelies, to 57cc cnc ported 36mm heads. Can't wait. :-)

Cheers for your comments William and yeah i goes pretty good for a 20kg fat lump of billet alloy, will go better in the coming months when i ditch the stock 34mm heads and drop on some ported 36mm heads, that will be some fun.

i don't get why so many people free rev new engines,start it give it a few revs to check shit...get out there and bed them rings in with a bit of load,not WOT but give it some stick...is there something im missing?

@klhmx10 wow,thats a huge difference,youd think it was super lean!!!! i just want to know what my ported engine revs to with the pipes i haveWe used a speed gun today,well good too!
