Medusa Steps Out--Sierra Pecheur, artist

I invite you on a journey filled with new possibilities for MEDUSA and her myth. It's a journey where MEDUSA STEPS OUT from behind her shadows. Six years ago I began building DIG: An Imagined Archeo-logism, a vast, evolving sculptural installation that addresses the myths of men, women, war, marriage, family, ecology, death and dying. DIG has been mounted in two exhibitions (Xiem Gallery and Kellogg Gallery). MEDUSA STEPS OUT is the third act of DIG and, while I have been working on this project for 6 years, this is the first time I'm asking for support.
Please take a minute now to watch my video and become familiar with the project. I want to excavate Medusa and I want you to become fellow archeologists with me. Together we will uncover her secret and not so secret incarnations. Who she was and is historically and who she is today. I want you to go on this journey with me and I need your help.
