This is definitely not a parody. I don't know how the composers would describe it... it's rendered me speechless. As a fan of the original diva, perhaps I'm bias, but nice try.

Alison Jiear who played the original role in London was offered the role at Carnegie Hall, but was unable to perform.
Her version of the song is untouchable.

This isn't a parody. I'm pretty sure even the authors of the piece would not describe it as a parody of the Jerry Springer show.

Um...she's the incredible Kate Pazakis, and she's pretty damn famous in the West Village, and her recent show at the Zipper Factory was packed. But no, she's not NEARLY famous enough for what she's capable of!
