Half Life 2 - Portal Mod (Beginning to d1_canals_03)

I'm playing The Half Life 2 Portal Mod.

Well, it's actually playing Portal using the Half Life 2 Files.
It takes up a bunch of extra space coping the files from the .gcf to the portal folder, but I've gotten it to work fairly well.

There are some bugs while using the Portal Gun.
You can't skip TOO MUCH otherwise your player skips a "Trigger" that would load NPC's, parts of a level, or even activate a script to take place.
You can see that at 6:12 since i didn't walk across the boards of wood, the rest of the building on the other side didn't load.

You can also see i might just "Stand There" for a few seconds here and there.
Reason is with the Portals there, you can get stuck on nothing for some reason (like around 5:15 , 8:02 and 17:27 ), and other times, NPC's block me.

Some parts like near the end 19:41 where the Vortigaunt is suppost to charge you, he doesn't.
I think maybe the script telling him to isn't copied so i will try to fix that and it might help fix the next bug.

I stopped at d1_canals_03 because the game CRASHES upon loading that level. Maybe I am missing a file or something but it won't load Most of the other Canal Levels.
03 - 06 i think all crashed, so I just tried skipping past the Canals to the base where you meet Eli, but the game again crashes when your in the Elevator with Dr. Judith Mossman.

I think it has something to do with the Vortigaunt Attack since it crashes RIGHT when it gets to that floor.
I may have missed coping a file over and will try to fix it.
Since it crashed in the Elevator, I didn't include it in this video.

Also, Playing the Canal Levels I "COULD" Play, The Hoverboat doesn't work well at ALL.
It moves forward and back, but it WON'T Turn at all.
I'll try browsing through the config files and add lines that i need to, to get it to work.

I also have a Mod that will Replace Alyx's Skin/Model with Hatsune Miku (Yes, the Japanese Vocaloid Singer).
I got it from a Garry's Mod I downloaded.
Copying it over to HL2 and it easily worked.

I did the EXTRA Steps of Using GCFScape to EXTRACT ALL Half Life 2 Files INTO This Mod.
I can't Remember If I Extracted Portal Files also.

If you watch at 9:23 you can see the NPC's just walk right over the portals.

So no, you can't drop characters, other then yourself, though the portals.
