What would probably happen IF we mix copper sulfate and zinc together?
My class-mates and I have carried a science experiment which involved adding zinc into the copper sulfate solution. The aftermath, we end up with a displacement reaction - the occurrence of a less reactive metal deposits on top of another more reactive metal. To further our observations interestingly, we worked with two test tubes each with different quantities of Copper Sulfate and Zinc foil. We then see which test tube holding the two materials react quicker than the other.
