I've been eating this guys punches for several years, and done a lot of "muaysakhon" - orthodox boxing sparring with him, and he is really really good, even with details such as bobbing and weaving. He is not supposed to rely a lot on punching in his fights though due to his chin is his only weak link against top 10 fighters.

@Boozemastersupreme That makes a lot of sense! Merci/thanks

@TheJeanRaphael I Imagine there are a number of reasons. 1. It looks a bit like an elbow coming in, confuses the opponent. 2. It is easy to convert to an elbow. 3. extra protection for the side of his head. 4. Maybe his punching could be improved (don't call me a farang whiteboy know-nothing, a Thai can be wrong too. I'm sure he isn't arrogant enough to believe he cannot learn anything new, that's partly why he's training...)

@muaythai4ko Kaas
Your funny dude. A 19 year old non Thai trying to talk about a Thai champion about his technique. Just stop dude. I am not going to even argue with you cause arguing on the internet is like the special olympics, if you win your still retared.

I love it when farangs try to tell the Thais that they are wrong.
