Insult to iinjury: This is the Enterprise-B refit. That ship was faulty the moment she left dock.

When the Excelsior launched in 2284, Scotty had sabotaged her engines and she had to be towed back into space dock. The Enterprise, at that point, could have laid waste to the Excelsior. But putting them on equil footing, it would really depend on the crew of the Excelsior. Would the Excelsior crew be using new tactics or tactics learned at the Academy, most of which were written by Kirk by that time? Excelsior may be stronger, but Enterprise has the experience. Enterprise all the way!

if the crews were equal on both ships then the excelsior would kick ass because the enterprise was a science type vessel and the excelsior is a war type vessel

WHY IS THERE SO MUCH FREAKING SPINNING AROUND IN THESE TREK GAMES!!! ITS ANOYING FRUSTRATING AND MOTION SICKNESS DRIVEN! The ships can;t move around like that or spin!!!! and bump into each other

I think I have a problem with this mod. I installed it and updated to 2.2. I havent installed the start trek XI pack yet.

Well my battles take up to three times as long as this one in the video. I think somethings wrong. After like 4 minutes of constant phaser and torpedo firing I finally get the shields off.

Then I ill unload like 6 torpedos into the hull of Lets say a TOS romulan bird of prey an it does like 0 damage.

I had this game it sucked there if not for the mod nation this game was DOA and still is really a perfect example of it is the damage the just poped up on the big E after the battle WTF???

@Reierdacool Great game. defiantly get it. best star trek game ever. really atmospheric & a lot of fun. I haven't stopped playing since it came out :)

but if ur really anal about how the star trek universe 'should be' & wear an anorak & get really pissed off when the time line isn't 'correct' or some such rubbish that stops you from enjoying a really good 'fictional' game in a 'fictional' universe, where u get to blow stuff up! hey!. maybe its not for you.

personally i like blowing stuff up :)

@FrontFox Do you have Bridge Commander? I have it and with all the mods still coming out I still have a blast with it! And it came out in 2002!
