@scootergrisen thanks for you help, but all 3 wires are conected fine i have instaled it correctly, it is not touching the fuel tank, when i take the fuel float out of the tank, and move it up and down, the needle on the fuel gauge moves up and down, and when i place the fuel float in water (simulating a full fuel tank) the needle moves up, but when i put it in a full tank of gas, it just sinks to the bottem, and the needle doesnt move, if it floats in water then it must flaot in fuel? thanks :D
When i turn the key the gauge starts on E and goes up like 1/4 of an inch, but never goes to full. any ideas ?

@tdyke07 Try taking the float out and moving it all the way up and down.

@scootergrisen I have a 2011 tao tao.. where do i take the float out? do i have to take the gas out too? i dont know anything. lol

@tdyke07 The float is the only thing on the fueltank with wires on it.
It depends on how much fuel is in the tank, but you can just drain the fueltank to be sure.

@scootergrisen I looked in the gas guage and saw a wire looking thing at the bottom of the tank so i took a close hanger and lifted it up and my tank went to full, but there is nothing on the float to keep it up.

@tdyke07 The fuel will lift the float. It will float on top of the fuel. Onless it is broken and fuel can get inside.
