I completely got what Christina was trying to do when Back to Basics came out. She doesn't stay in one look or one genre. It's never dull. She mixes everything up and I think that's awesome!

At last the voice of reason. Wasn't everybody inspired by somebody?

Britney and Christina are of my generation. Born around 1980/1981....

Britney definitely is reminiscent of a combination of Janet Jackson and Paula Abdul. That was my immediate reaction when she came out. Because those two were popular when we were little.

Then Christina is reminscent of the great pop singers of the past couple decades. Whitney, Mariah.... (More Whitney, IMO.)

it isn't copy.... people get inspired between themselves...

I hate when people say that: "Oh she did this, she copied that girl!" "No she didn't do that, the other girl did her style" etc! it's relaly boring...

I love either Britney and Xtina.... why can't other people? If you can't, why you have to say anything about them? ..
