nice sound!

The strings are made of 100% steel, right? No nickelplating or anything?

@yanivebc i still have same blue steels dt set on my guitar and they haven't lost their tone, pretty much same as the day i put them on month ago. i've been playing a lot more since i got these. i guess it's a matter of preference i play a lot of metal so these suit me fine

@ACDCv5150III The name of these strings is derived from 'cold blue steel' which in turn is because of the cryo treatment making them clearer and punchier than ordinary strings. For the record and in reference to these making ones fingers black: I too hate that but that's something I'm willing to take. I love the tone of these that much. Did use GHS cryos a while but those are thin and bright something terrible. These have more meat to them.

fuck they aren't even blue colored -_- fucking scam....

Glad it's not just me. I'll be looking for another string set when this dozen runs out.

@truemypi Im using signatures now, the blue steels, didn't keep their tone as long as the signature series do

I like the feel and sound of these strings but what really annoys me is they turn my fingertips black.

@HazardousSmoker Me too, I don't use them anymore. I switched to Dean Markley Signatures. Way better string.
