2000hp Cummins diesel running on idle at the Easter Crankup. Will be trailer mounted by the end of May so that we can get the revs up a bit!

Y'all think this is big. There was an engine that went into a train that had 20 cylinders, and 710 cubic inches in each cylinder, the hole bored for them was 9 inches wide!

@CaptainBig8IIIIIID I used to work at Cat LEC in Lafayette IN. The engine in this video is similar to a cat 3516 series. Depending on the intended use, the engines would usually be fitted with 1 or 2 electric starters about 5" in diameter and about a 12" long. They could also be fitted with air powered starters. The flywheel was about 2.5 feet in diameter which gives a good ratio for torque. We painted ours red when they would be used for fire pumps, yellow normal use, and blue for marine use
