Sing Until the Darkness Flees, Paraguay - July 16, 2009

At 10:55 am on July 16, 2009, the power went out in the CFA church building in Asunción during the morning worship service of the World Assembly of the Mennonite World Conference which was attended by approximately 5700 people.

Cries of surprise and concern were the first to come from the crowd, but as time went on people started to sing in small pockets. Eventually the crowd found a common song and sang together in the darkness until the lights came on.
