@SirFrag32 And for comparison, i have 2 22" LED monitors that use less power combined than my older single 24" cathode lit monitor.

@cerlestes Actually, the new power saving features of notbooks that are coming out today use half the power of ones a couple years ago. LED lighting and new APU/Atom type processors are power sipping. My new Acer netbook uses 18 watts at full power while charging the battery (10 watts when not) and it is faster than my 5 year old p4 notebook that draws 90 watts at full power. AMD C-50 CPU, 120GB SSD, and LED backlight on a 10" screen.
