At the pre-concert discussion of the new work, "Lincoln at Ease," Peter Schickele explained how Mr. Linclon loved jokes and word plays. I asked if Mr. Schickele named the piece "Lincoln at Ease" as a word play of "Lincoln a Tease." He said that Lincoln would have thought of that, but not the composer!
