  • I am always disappointed that Oscar Wilde`s wonderful story had been changed (a lot) for movies, at least I do not know a version which is true to the original story. But at least I am glad to see that this touching performance of the young girl comes close to a crucial point of the original.

  • I have this movie on Dvd..and it's the best performance that Ms.O'Brien,Bob Young,Charlie Laughton,Una O'Connor and Rags Ragland ever gave in their film careers.
