Lenregistrament pertany al segell Víctor i es va realitzar a lany 1939, el disc porta per títol Metronome All Star Band. Metronome era una publicació de música que va estar en actiu des dels anys 20 fins als 60, en aquesta ocasió va reunir a grans estrelles de la història del jazz com Coleman Hawkins, Benny Carter, Count Basie, Buddy Rich, Benny Goodman, Charlie Christian, Tommy Dorsey i Harry James.

I hate it when people get on and comment about the number of dislikes, but here I have to make an exception. ONE DISLIKE??? How do you not like a tune like this, done up HOT TIME by what is basically an ALL LEGEND ensemble?
To not like this you gotta be dead from the neck down.
Anyhow, Charlie is really jammin' on this one. I've been switching back and forth between this one and one called Django Reinhardt Honeysuckle Rose --Very interesting.

@96sinzi ha ha it does!....it's a product of it's time though - in 70 years people will hear Blink 182 and think it sounds like Imagination Movers music. Anyway, i like Tom & Jerry! All in an amazing musician - especially considering he was dead at 26.
