  • The original NES music blows this one away, which is shocking considering how much more the SNES was capable of.

  • NES soundtrack owns SNES track! End of story!

  • Me playing the game:

    *finishes level 4-1*

    *level 4-2 starts*

    *turns off the SNES*

OMFG!!! NOO!!! NOT THE MUSIC OF LEVEL 4-2!!!!!

  • Partly, perhaps, but there is also that the SNES versions include melodies that were not in the NES counterparts (ie. compare Ninja Gaiden 1 stage 1-1 BGM in NES and SNES) @streeTkiDwannaBe

And thing is, most people claim to prefer the NES version. The point is, even if both myself and them are driven by nostalgia, my point remains that this does not make the NES versions necessarily better.

  • @neoYTPism Meh your preferance for the snes version than the nes one can easily be due to your nostalgia of having played it first as well.

  • Man, I miss so bad the Sega Master System version of Ninja Gaiden at The Music of the Video Games. So does anyone else?

  • @cfalconforever I Agree.. Nes Soundtrack is much better..

  • I heard the music to the SNES version before hearing the music to the NES version, and I must say, I actually prefer the SNES versions of most audio tracks in the game, especially stages 1-1 and 2-2.

I think people prefer the NES version of the music out of nostalgia because they played it first.

  • Especially since it's not him playing.

  • Hehe, even you cant beat Ninja Geiden in one go :3

  • the nes soundtrack was better in most ways but the NG1 act1-1 (galesburg) theme is way better in my opinion an few other but that one stands out the most
