@terriertimetoo its not the matte finish that making it grainy, It is the pastels them self. If you dont get all the bitts of dust and thing off the model before spraying thats what happens.

Do you think I can use aerosol paint for a solid base coat color ? After this, i'm gonna use pastels for details. Is it a good idea ? Sorry for my bad english, i'm french ;) Nice tutorial !

@missmarieloveJB Its best to use arcylics when you would like to put a base coat color down on your model. Spray paint or aerosol are not the best for this due to all sorts of reasons.
