Replica of Saladin's Trebuchet

This is a small version of an actual trebuchet located at the Citadel Medieval Fortress in Cairo Egypt. I am creating a web based tutorial on how to make this trebuchet.

Any idea what period the trebuchet dates to? Is it definitely from the time of saladin?

@360Production no idea. There was no information with the treb. It was pretty old.
