@GothicSeve This is one of the most annoying aspects of Christianity: when one member tries any form of creative expression, the others are overly concerned with whether or not something is sinful or "sensual." Christian subculture is often narrow, stifled, and boring because of too much of this sort of inhibition, Puritanical bitching over "exposing too much skin," and many spoken and unspoken things you can't do. Dear Sister in Christ and in goth/metal: I love to dance too. However, I honestly think it's very inappropriate to dance the "Our Father" holy prayer with you showing your belly. Belly dance is sensual. Maybe you should have done it all covered; that would have been more artistic. Reserve belly dance for theatre, show, or marital live. Davidic jewish dance is more in the line of worship.
