I have charged the bodybugg and when I put it on my arm I heard the beeps, but the display is blank. I have pushed the mode and view buttons and still no display. Could I have gotten a dud display??

I just got my bodybugg yesterday and I can't get the display to even go on. I have charged the bodybugg and when I put it on my arm I heard the beeps, but still the display is blank. I have pushed the mode and view buttons (my thumbs and index fingers are hurting) and still no display. Could I have gotten a dud display??
