I was there just in another boat, the day he her released this fish. We caught limits all between 18-27", so there was no need to kill a large breeding female. It's all about conservation and protecting the species boys.Oh yea, during CCA S.T.A.R.season I would consider keeping a big mama. I would love to win a boat and truck too claybone22. You are looking a spotted sea trout (Cynoscion nebulosus), look it up. That is what we call them down here in the lower laguna madre, "speckled trout". I caught her north of Port Mansfield near the mouth of the landcut in the flats to the left if your traveling north. I caught her on live shrimp under a alameda popping cork. I caught this fish in April 2008. HEY squidt420 STFU!!!
