Freunde im Große Gebäude

EXCUSE MY SHITTY GERMAN.
direct translation is "Friends in big buildings" which is basically me trying to say "friends in high places"

Sam ( the lovely lady that said "This fucker's BIG" ) wanted to climb the Freiburger Münster ( Freiburg cathedral ) and I offered to go with her. There are a lot of stairs. They get smaller and require you lift your leg higher the higher you go. The entire way up we were complaining about it with good humor, the way down we were joking about her falling the rest of the way and dying.

" Sam, are you okay!? ... oh, I think she's DEAD. Oh well!"

On our way up in the most narrow part of the journey, some people were coming down. You need to be single file at this point, so it was hard pressing ourselves against the wall &rail enough for them to get by without stumbling on us or something. Poor Sam's legs were really shaky the rest of the day.

All in all, it was a lot of fun. We knew each other from class, but we became friends after this and started hanging out the rest of our time in Germany.
