  • Loveland, CO

  • Oh wow amazing performance. Soft and dynamic. Can I know what is the song's name? It's so beautiful.

  • Hi, Thanks! The song is called "Only a Memory" by Yanni.

  • you girls were amazing!!!!! obviously, you guys have some money though....(the color/designed mat/floor)! I;m glad that your school has show support through funds! you all deserve it!

  • Actually, there is no support from the school. It is sad. We fund raise for everything, and somethings reuse uniforms if we have to.

  • Rock on Girls! Very Nice!!

  • I remember this!! Loved the show!! XD

  • Is this Loveland, Colorado or Loveland, Ohio?

  • @shutterbugnumber2 we actually painted and designed the mat/tarp ourselves and reused our uniforms from the season before! I havent watched this in almost 4 years!! We were so amazing! I am so proud of us!! Its a shame we didn't win at finals, we worked so hard :( I miss being in winterguard/colorguard so much!!! it was the greatest time of my life :)

  • @apple22jacks Sorry i'm not the uploader of this video, but i was in Guard for three years, and two of those i was captain. I am also only 5 foot tall.

There are 3 basic sizes of poles, 5, 5.5 and 6 feet. They do have so 7 and higher, for specialty performances, but the first three are the ones that are most commonly used. My flag pole is a 6 foot flag pole, and i can still do tricks with it just like taller girls can. Don't worry about your height, and good luck on your tryouts!! (SMILE!)

  • @apple22jacks the poles are usually 6 ft tall, but I spin and I'm under 5 ft. As my instructor likes to say it doesn't matter how tall you are as long as you're spinning with proper technique. Unless you're significantly shorter than that, you shouldn't worry ;)

  • @apple22jacks the flag poles are usually about 6 ft tall, but don't worry about being too short. I'm under 5 ft. and as my instructor likes to say that is not an excuse for not being able to toss a flag, as long as you're tossing with proper technique. So unless you're significantly shorter, I wouldn't be worried ;).
