How to speak the visayan language easily.

Visayan Language is a native tongue of Visayas & Some parts of Mindanao. They usually vary in intonation in different regions.

Visayan or Bisaya are of the same meaning.

Words to Remember:
1. Good Morning - Maayong Buntag
2. Good Highnoon - Maayong Udto
3. Good Afternoon - Maayong Hapon
4. Good Evening - Maayong Gabi-e
5. Goodbye, Gotto Go Now or Got to Go Ahead - Muadto sa ko / Mulakaw Nako
6. Neighbor - Silingan
7. Friend - Higala
8. Sa Tanan - To Everyone
9. Kanimo or Kaninyo- To you
10. Maayo - Good

  • May I make a correction with regards to the statement that Visayan is just spoken in some parts of Mindanao. It is spoken in most parts of Mindanao. It has become the lingua franca of communication in Mindanao. I know that fact because I am a Bisayang Mindanaonon.
