Facts about the concert and early performances:
-Leslie was 33 years old at the time, therefore sung 33 shows. One show for every year of his life.
-Leslie had sung 33 songs, including medleys in this concert
-Concert ran nearly 3 and a half hours.
-Decided to retire because Michael Lai Siu-Tin had changed music company, Leslie felt tired after doing a world tour
-Leslie claims that Michael only had ran 3 times out of 33 shows. ( Leslie's 1985 concert, Leslie had ran and sung with Michael to the song 藍色憂鬱, 藍色憂鬱 was used as an exercise song for Michael, soon followed H20. )
-7 years after the concert had been done, fellow fans who kept their ticket stub were able to get a free cup of tea or coffee at Leslie's coffee shop (Leslie's coffee shop is still open in Hong Kong, and is very popular, but had not disclose the location of the area of his coffee shop)
-Jacky Cheung, Priscilla Chan, Roman Tam, Sam Hui, Hacken Lee, as well as other singers had attended his concert. Roman had given Leslie a big bouquet of flowers.
-Leslie was afraid of doing handshakes in 1985 concert, because audience had pulled him in, in a Monica/不羈的風 medley. There were incidents where he was actually pulled into the audience's seats.
-Leslie Cheung had referred Michael Lai Siu-Tin as a clumsy character, but is always supportive, he usually refers Michael as Garfield in that matter.
-Leslie was unable to attend 1989 Music Awards, due to farewell concert. But was able to sing 由零開始 live, which had won the award.
-Had donated all the money made from the Salute album to 香港演藝學院 Hong Kong's for performing arts)
-1986 concert stage was later used to hand out the music awards.
-1989, Is one of the biggest stages Leslie had performed on
