Stunning, I could list to Steve play all day.
-
Steve harris and Alex webster are the reason i started playing bass
-
@rockstar11cc I gallop all the time, but I use three fingers. Doing it with two fingers (like Steve does) takes a LOT of practice and stamina. It comes easier to some moreso than others.

Anyone have any tips on how to gallop like Steve? Using fingers?
-
ughh.. damn tough track to play. :/
-
@thedebilman666 incredible.
-
@kingkrab123 Yes, he plays everything with his fingers.
-
Steve Harris is hands down the most talented bassist ever, he's better than Cliff Burton, sorry to say.
-
@ianisc00lio so is He actually doing it with his fingers, cuz I saw him use fingers for all the songs at the Concert last June, but this sounds impossible.

Part of Steve's treble comes from hitting the strings into the fret board. He switched to flats because normal rounds clanked way too much for his taste.
They are not triplets. Triplets are three notes played evenly, each with equal duration. The bassline is a "gallop": one eighth note followed by two sixteenth notes for each beat of the 4/4 bar. (In my opinion, nobody does it better than Steve Harris; gives Iron Maiden its signature heaviness and groove) Hallowed Be Thy Name has the same rhythm, as does the bassline to the verse in Heaven and Hell by Black Sabbath

@leoangelo1234 That's why he is swimming in money
Yes, that's the main reason why he's doing all of this >.>
Kill yourself now please. You could have said so many things about Harris but you choose something retarded like that...
