赤壁 Red Cliffs Movie Press Meeting (5/10/07)

The entire cast of the Red Cliffs movie (being directed by John Woo) appeared at a press meeting in Beijing for the first time yesterday. They have been filming the movie for 2 weeks, and will continue to October 2007. The first part of the movie is expected to come out in summer of 2008. The second part later in 2008.

CAST: * Tony Leung as Zhou Yu, the chief strategist of the Kingdom of Wu; * Chang Chen as Sun Quan, first emperor of the Kingdom of Wu; * Hu Jun as Zhao Yun, a top general of the Kingdom of Shu; * Takeshi Kaneshiro as Zhuge Liang, the chief strategist of the Kingdom of Shu; * Lin Chi-ling as Younger Qiao, the wife of Zhou Yu; * Zhao Wei as Sun Shangxiang, the younger sister of Sun Quan who married Liu Bei; * You Yong as Liu Bei, first emperor of the Kingdom of Shu; * Zhang Fengyi as Cao Cao, the last Chancellor of Eastern Han Dynasty and the pioneer of the Kingdom of Wei;

i hope Battle of Red Cliff will be much better than Ressurection of the Dragon (after watching the poor trailer)

I heard about this a while back, apparently the director is the same guy who directed the Final Destination Trilogy, cant wait to see this

oh god, will they follow the plot to Hua Rong Dao? I wanna see Zhang Fei, Zhi Long & Yu Zhang... but i do agree if u say Zhou Yu should be the main guy in this battle... :)
