ahh johnson didnt die in halo 2 mate, in fact, he supposed to die in halo 1 because he got infected by the flood but he apparently was immune to it because he had a brain tumour a long time before the coverant attacked on planet Harvest...

gosh i cant remember what happened on halo 2 (game) gota play it!!!

but johnson definitly didnt die as he drove a UNSC ship out of the depot of coverant to delay their attack on earth (this was in the 3rd book, First Strike)

johnson respawnd to many times i killed him like 3 times on halo one 30 on like halo 2 and he finaly dies again on halo3 and comes back i heard he has some kinda alien junk in him that makes him live forever
