Based mostly on David Steele's plans. Xylotex 425oz-in kit, 1/2"-8, 8 start precision ACME screws with DumpsterCNC anti-backlash nuts, Mach3. 230ipm rapids. Built with home-improvement tools! Jogging the axes I stall the stepper and crash the Z... She's up and running, but if anyone has G-code files they'd like to share let me know... Thanks for looking!

  • what software do you use to design what ever you want to route..?

  • @squidskunk Hi, I do some design with Adobe Illustrator or Vectric VCarve Pro 5.5. All toolpaths are generated with VCarve Pro 5.5, though I'm experimenting with OneCNC XR3...
