The retailer sent me some files to flash the EEPROM, so one of them was repaired. He never sent me information to RMA the other. I'll try to dig up what he gave me and contact you so you might be able to fix yours.

Got two of them and they are both defective. Neither came with the insulating sticker. One simply gets hot and is not detected. The other is detected and the driver is installed, but the application can't see it. I have tried on several computers and switched components between the two chips. They simply don't work. The one that actually detects appears in Device Manager as "Flatmii - No EEPROM (0x8613)"

Ok i returned my 1st flatmii get a new one, and YESS it works, great can play all the games I want to was worth my 50 euros :D

I got me a flatmii also, but my pc wont recognize the device and i cant install the drivers, tried on several pc's but ain't workin...also searched over the internet for the answer but cant find it :( i'll try some others ways to fix it,, if dont i will send it back for another one..
If someone can help me out some more msg me,
