I added a front facing camera to my samsung vibrant so i figured id take a video and let you see what how it looks...

Oh and THANK YOU for addressing the banding issue....any ideas yet what it could be?

@zeroisjdm well in perfect daylight the banding is basicly gone, also in a still picture its much less noticeable, however videos look pretty awfull. im hoping its just a software issue. i can allways roll back to the good camera if its not. and at the moment since there isnt any software that supports it anyway it does kinda seem like overkill. i just wanted to get my hands on one incase the price goes up in the future which it did. but once i got it i forgot everything and tore my phone apart

@freedomcaller Yeah I think im going to go ahead and pick one up now, even if its just to give the middle finger to my evo-crazy friends. The only thing they have up on me is the FFC, not like they use it or anything though.

Have you heard an ETA on Yahoo! messenger for Android? That should bring good video calling.....can you use Qik?

Is it VGA of 1.3mp?

@zeroisjdm no eta on yahoo! but its out for iphone i think, qik only uses back and the evo version has the option to switch to front greyed out. i think its only 0.3mp? i read that somwhere either way it looks fine for video chat since u dont wanna stream HQ video anyways. but its not super great for self photos. not that there are any self photo apps, i think i might work on one.....
