Part 2 - Imbolc 2011 Glastonbury White Spring

The traditional celebration of Imbolc in Wellhouse Lane, Glastonbury. On the first day of pagan spring the young Bridie takes the new light into the darkness of the White Spring. Everyone then emerges from the building to celebrate in the street with poetry, music and prayer. The waters from the White Spring and Chalice Well are mixed and the group processes with the new light and water through Monk's Gate to the wellhead in Chalice Well.
