this is not fake. hes using the accelerometer inside the remote. they can be unresponsive at times but overall its a brilliant project.

I know from experience that the correlation between the actions of the car and the Wii remote is so poor that this is almost certainly a fake. Nice idea though if you only have one free hand. Quite often I would like to drive the truck to the park whilst carrying the pit box in the other hand.

think you could do this with a ps3 controller? or would wii parts be cheaper?
never thought about going bluetooth before.

Yeah, because noone could do something like that, just because there are already standard libraries to read out and interpret Wiimote data via bluetooth, right?
Or is it the basic electronics know how necessary to hook up a pc to an RC Controller that seems impossible to you?

I've done it before standard libraries went online - but of course I used the informations from the discussions on the web.
