@JamesEngland60 I don't know, maybe because this was away at Fulham a couple years after Highbury was closed and none of the fans were actually in the North Bank or Clock End of Highbury?

im an arsenal fan from lebanon.ive always been a gooner but ive never seen a game.but i just know that the atmosphere at highbury was simply brilliant! i think that our opponents sh*t their pants every time they played us.i also love how close the fans were 2 the pitch. they should make the emirates more compact so that people would litteraly be next 2 the pitch ! one day ill go 2 the emirates and ill sing my heart out and if anyone tells me to shut up ill disgrace him 4 not being a true gooner!

were the fuck ha all the atmospere gone north bank v clockend were the best chants about we have turned into a franchise club it really fucks me off that we got a staduim that fit 60,000 people i but still like to stick to the same old shitty chants and worst of all we barely sing there's alot of proud gooners out there that are also frustrated with the emirate stadium and how its killed the atmosphere i think its time to make a change bring bak all highbury chants to the emirates

@iceyboy76 Im only 12 but i was in the highbury clock end since i was 5 and im now in the north bank block 6, its amazing! you stand and sing the whole time and stewards dont tell you to sit down:) thats where proper fans are

@rhuntingdon At least it's getting sung which is a start! I'd say it sounds better with Highbury away from home (for old time's sake). At the Emirates, if it ever picks up on a large scale, I think It would sound better with Emirates.
