My early impressions of the album.

Quite light and summery, more poppy than Felt Mountain and Black Cherry.

I love the title track, Head First, though - sort of Satin Chic meets Abba. Cool and Alison really suits this Ashes to Ashes look :D

@rocky362 it's not easy,it's just direct, structurally rocket is really unusual but its subtle you don't even notice, I think thats just as creative as the other genius stuff on felt mountain and son,thats the clever bit.

@sallyfieldrequired I agree Heat First is amazing on the one hand its light hearted and easy yet its dark enough to fit in with Goldfrapps very strong discography

I think Head first is very underated, it stands out from the rest of their albums for some reason (not that it's my favourite) I think it's their most different album, its so simple and bold, really direct and very visual, I don't know why people dislike it, I think its genius.

I traveled to utah,and i buyed two of her cds, i fall in love with. Head first. and i had it for two month's. i was drunk played the cds. it got fucked/w strachess. i kik my self in the ass for it. now i can't find any cds of her. in my little town.
