@SuperWayne2000 If you're talking about net worth of the real estate that U2 own in Dublin meaning The Clarence hotel, their recording studios, their homes and offices, I don't see what that has got to do with anything! U2 have every right to do whatever they want with their own money!! And I, as a westerner, am quite happy to donate my hard earned cash to those less fortunate than myself and Finland's own foreign is 0,54% of our GDP. We in the west should stop exploiting and start giving!!

@SuperWayne2000 Bono doesn't have a billion dollars! And the millions that U2 earn are devided up equally among the four band members plus their manager and they also have hundreds of people on their payroll! And in this interview Bono doesn't once ask for any money nor does he ever! All he asks is that we western nations demand that our government hold up to their promise to the UN to increase aid to 0,7% of the national GDP i.e. money that has already been spent on goods and services!!

@SuperWayne2000 @SuperWayne2000 if they give all their money away would it do anything? yes only one thing it would prevent Bono from paying for all of the flights that he buys to fly around the world talking to world leaders and trying to convince them to give aid to Africa and other poor populations. Understandably you are confused and think that wealthy people's only way to help is to give money.

Hopefully this helps you understand Bono, Bill Gates, and many other Eastern well off people give their time and often their "cool" images away for bigger causes and make much more of any impact then they ever could throwing all of their money at a charity.
