The Dominator (20 minute Roller Coaster)

So we went to Kings Dominion on Tuesday July 27th. Our plans were to go to the water park first then go ride some rides. But I hadn't been there in nearly 2 years so as we were walking back we decided to go on The Dominator first. With our luck, it just so happened that we got to ride it right as it decided it wanted to break down. Luckily Timmy had his camera rolling so we caught most of it on video.

Just one question, why were you saying it is not safe? All coasters are designed to be able to finish the ride from any block section on the ride. Look at Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit it has 4 of them.

@BeAPartOfTheMagic It was my brother (who was recording and talking most of the time) saying that. He knew we had a few more of the spiral parts to go and we were edged over the drop a little bit before it started going again. And I guess he thought it didn't have enough speed to make it through the spirals.

@lirr56890 No. We just got a free upper view of the park for 20 minutes. Once they got us off they pretended like nothing happened.

You are lucky they didn't stop the ride on the lift hill because you had the camera out. They have done and will do that, not only that, but if you don't put it away you will be ejected from the park.

Same exact thing happens to ne last year. We had to walk down the stairs

What?? a piece of machinery stopped working? Rides are designed to do this...

@porky484 I think we are going back next week some time. So maybe I will be able to film some more rides. I have a few from the trip this was taken on. But haven't uploaded them. Mainly cause they aren't that cool.

@frank2982 well you survived so no harm no foul but i still always want to get stuck on a coaster i dont care which one but yeah i inxed that for the intimidator we got stuck on the lift but continued 20 seconds later but the staff didnt do one thing about it
