St. Kitts Fmr Attorney General Vindicated (Part 1)

Basseterre, St. Kitts (September 15, 2010) -- Former Attorney General, Dr. Dennis Merchant, was on Monday, vindicated by the Court of Appeal of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court.

One year ago, Dr. Merchant was held in Contempt of the Court by High Court Judge, Justice Francis Belle, in a high profile political pre Election series of injunctions against the incumbent Government.

The incumbent Government went on to win a fourth unprecedented term in office, not only defeating the main Opposition PAM Party, but denying the PAM Leader of Seat as well.

No PAM leader has sat in Parliament since 1995.
