@deere3001 I live in Nottingham - which is about 25 minutes away. I crossed the bridge going to and from Calke Abbey. I got the information about the bridge from Wikipedia.

Built in the 13th century to cross the River Trent and its surrounding marshes, Swarkestone Bridge is the longest stone bridge in England. Well worth a visit if you live nearby. I drove over it twice today. It's long and narrow, and a bit scary at 40 mph. Apparently, the advance guard of Bonnie Prince Charlie's army reached the bridge in 1745 before withdrawing to Scotland.
