ADF-7th Brigade Homecoming Parade. Brisbane, Aus. Welcome home!

I went in order to join other Bris Vegans and show these guys how proud we are of them. I had to catch myself a little when I saw the injured troops(back of Land Rovers and one in a wheelchair).

Prior to the march, I managed to speak with some Diggers and they are the true example of a professional soldier. Two soldiers from the 2nd/14th Light Horse Regiment (2/14 LHR) took the time to explain their own experience's in as many as 3 tours. Without going into too much detail, I can understand how this may be a life changing experience for some. They had lost some mates over there and there was not even an uttered word, knowing all to well what they were feeling inside.

Was also hoping to catch some mates of mine while supporting the other returning troops. 'Onya' Jack ;)

And for those who didn't return, you made the greatest sacrifice.

@Zephyesa Pear harbour was an attack on the U.S Navy by the Imperial Japanese Navy..How can you compare a naval attack in world war two, to a welcome home parade in 2010, when Australia currently has no overseas enemies. Now even tho there would be no point of occupying Australia as its too remote from other countries, if another country had us in their sights, they'd use Longbow Hellfire missles and Naval artillery what are assualt rifles going to do against that? Civillian...You know nothing..
