This could have gone on for about 20 minutes longer in my opinion. I always felt he was just getting into it. There must be some session tapes out there on reel to reel. Would love to hear what didn't make it onto Electric Ladyland.

I thought the reason of the fade away, is that it didn't fit on one side of the vinyl, so there are actually 2 tracks of this song
I love to listen to it during a rainy day, it makes it a lot less depressing!

Nobody I know touched this until Taj Majal did it a few years ago. This song is so uptown Hendrix, no wonder the jazz greats loved Jimi.
