Umm... Yes it is?
Do you know how well that sword has to be kept for it to cut that well? Do you know how much strength it takes with each strike to cut through one of those?
And to do it 31 times in 30 seconds takes a LOT of practice.
Do some research before you say something is easy. It's usually a lot harder than it looks.

Well, yeah, I've seen better as well. But to say "it's not a big deal to cut like that" is inaccurate. Because it does take skill to cut that fast and accurately. Even if it's not with fancy maneuvers.

ever tried to cut moving targets with light armor around it?
-
starts at 0.29 ends at 1.12 = 43 secs which is very good but not close as 30 secs! I cant believe not one tried to see the exact timing ! At least say the truth and and cat the bullshit!!!!!

That was 45 cuts in like 3/4 of a minute..
-
the same cut every time.......... try to mix it up yo. decent kesa cut though. but that many mats is a lot of damn money.

More like 1 cut repeated 31 times and still a little off balance on some of those cuts. Very strong and pretty accurate... but no fluidity. Not so much a show of skill but a show of accuracy...

@LiliumNightShade i'm no expert, but i could guess at a couple of reasons
1. the blade will get stuck betweein the two halves, whereas a diagonal cut allows the blade to go all the way through.
2. if you were to cut all the way down, you could hit the stand and damage the blade

dont have bamboo in tameshigiri ?

True. It's more about the momentum and speed behind the technique than strength.
Obviously, I know more about swords than I did 11 months ago. lol
-
if you have to use too much strength that means you are doing something wrong.

several of his cuts were very off
