    Woah, just take it easy man! I'm pretty sure this is just the same mix as the album, ie the bass wasn't processed differently/louder because they weren't able to do so?

    It's not the ability to play it that's the impressive feat here, Hell i've been playing bass for only 4 years and can play most BTBAM stuff, however, What takes REAL talent is to have the abilty to create this kind of stuff! How Dan and the band manage to come up with these songs, (This is where I especially admire dan because most conventional basslines you find now are based around roots and octaves (boring)) Is far beyond me...

    Turning up the bass would offset the balance of the song. All you really have to do is just single out the bass and listen to it, and watch his hands.

    Erland is an AMAZING bass player, but this is a completely different style. Hard to compare these two, but Dan Briggs is definitely a hell of a bass player.
