@Ferior Actually, the average Chinese family is poor.

15% of the country is considered "impoverished", living on less than $1.25 a day.

40% live on less than $2.00 a day.

I wonder what percentage of the country lives on less than $5.00 a day... (and that's not even considered impoverished)

and this family we see here, which we consider poor, lives most definitely on MORE than $5.00 a day.

What does that say?

@MingTheMerciful actually Africans are already flooding parts of Chinese big cities. As for Indians, India is growing fast. More jobs are being created there and those who have gone abroad are considering to return back. Perhaps Pakistan and Bangladesh would be ideal.

But you actually think anyone will heartily welcome a stranger into their town? Even village Chinese are seen as immigrants so imagine how they feel about people who don't have the same body features.

@Scattnam umm... the problem is, unlike Japan and Europe, US wants to be the global superpower for years to come. That means keeping your huge economic size and that also means equal or more labor force. And because of that more immigrants go to US than anywhere else in the world. So blame your government if your race is slowly becoming a minority.

Reducing birth rates isn't an easy business. You have to reduce it slow, otherwise you'll have a massive old population. In that sense, I think India is doing a good job by reducing it the natural way.

My wife and I have 7 sons,but our income allows us to support them easily....The American population density is only 34 people per km,excluding Alaska.... Only half of China is habitable,the Gobi Desert and Himalayas are massive...So its understandable, because land restraints and lower income .. Cause the Chinese to make the choice,of a 1 child family..
