The state police are asking for help from anyone who witnessed a fatal crash earlier this month.

The crash claimed the life of 22-year-old Bryan Brown, a passenger in a van that crashed at 12:53 p.m. Aug. 4 on Route 25 in Bourne, the police said.

The white 1995 Ford Econoline, with white lettering on the rear window, was traveling east when the driver lost control, the police said, and the van rolled over and stopped in the median strip. The driver, a 42-year-old Providence man, and another passenger, a 30-year-old Boston man, had serious injuries but survived.

Anyone who witnessed the accident or saw anything leading up to the crash should contact the Bourne state police barracks at 508-759-4488.

  • That's probably the sharpest paintjob I've ever seen on a S-76.

  • @treb1102 Thanks for the update. My heart goes out to you and your family.....I send my prayers and am very sorry for your loss. Hoping and and praying for the survivors as well. God Bless and strong

  • @BobbyHill27 This all took place on the morning of August 4th, 2010, around 11am. There were three passengers, two in the front seats, and one in the back.

None of them were wearing seat belts. I know this for a fact...because the guy on the stretcher in this video was my brother, Bryen; He died that day. He was only 22.

The other 2 passengers were in critical condition, with life threatening injuries, one is paralyzed & the driver had to go through a 10 hour surgery, the day after.

  • Any updates as to the cause of this accident? I can only imagine if he wasn't cut off, maybe it was due to a blown tire or something of that nature?
